MSC ministries of caring foster a Cabrinian presence in a variety of pastoral, community, parish and social services works around the world. Cabrini ministries of caring serve troubled adolescents whose families are unable or unwilling to care for them; deal with the scars of neglect, abuse, anger and bitterness; treat with dignity victims of poverty and homelessness; help people rebuild lives and rediscover hope. Cabrini caring means accompanying people from all walks of life on their journeys, having an active presence in people's lives and sharing the love of God with all.

Making Connections Work
Distinctive of Cabrini caring is a connection of people to services at the institution, neighborhood and family levels. People who don't fit into the normal system, can't fend for themselves, don't know the language, and need help are welcomed, served and cared for. This connection serves as a conduit to a broad spectrum of services under the aegis of one Cabrinian identity, opening unlimited avenues of possibility resulting from effective collaboration and presence where needed.

These connections also extend themselves to those seeking to serve in various capacities through short-term mission experiences. Cabrini Lay Missionaries and Cabrini Mission Corps Missioners find support for their work, dreams, growth and spiritual development within the MSC community. They in turn share their gifts and talents through their commitment of full-time service, community living and promotion of Gospel values in everyday life - continuing the legacy of Frances Cabrini.

Sharing and animating this legacy is the outreach of the Cabrini Shrines and Retreat Center. Pilgrims from all over the country and the world come to these spiritual centers to pray, rest and nourish themselves in the spirit of Frances Cabrini.
